I currently have a new 24DX nancube cycling. I have the stock lighting setup on it. I want to have mainly LPS and zoos with 1 or 2 SPS, probably a monti cap and pocilipora or millipora.
With the stock hood, I can pay $135, at the cheapest that I can find so far, for a 70W MH setup to place in it and keep the stock PC's as well. However, I have a 250w MH setup from the 50G that I had setup a while back. The bulb needs to be replaced, but I figured that $70 for a 14k or 20k bulb would not be a big deal. I would have to fabricate a hood to fit the tank, but I have done that many times before.
