I was looking around for reef aquariums blogs when I found one called “Reefers Dreams“. The blog hasn’t been updated in a long time and after reading thru several post I can understand why, the blog would more appropriately be called “Reefers Nightmares” (no offense to the blog owner). Post after post telling the sad story about a fish or coral dying with merely a guess as to why, some with a follow up about adding another “doomed” tank occupant.
Always research about a species before just adding them to a reef tank. Seems the author of “Reefers Dreams” is not aware that the Montipora coral, an anemone and many other corals he added to his reef tank would not likely fare well under the low intensity of PC lighting.
