Water tests
Ran some quick water tests on the 180 today. Was hoping to see some change with the water change using 50/50 IO/Oceanic mix... forget to test the alk/cal of the new SW.
Temp 78F
SG 1.024 (still raising it back up slowly to 1.026)
pH 8.3
Nitrate 25ppm (not sure why so high yet)
Alk 7.6dKH
Cal 400ppm
Alkalinity is still running low, so back to my 3 tsp baking soda nightly added to 2 gallons of top off to be dripped into the system over night until I get her back up over 10dKH. Need to keep an eye on the pH though... Angel's backing some pies tommorrow, so that will be my chance to bake some baking soda up and make some washing soda from it to manage the pH. Next water change will be pure IO, so I'll be able to get some straight tests of the mix.
